Snapshot hyperspectral camera

Cubert Hyperspectral Imaging gave birth to video spectroscopy. A combination of real-time hyperspectral snapshot camera technology, small footprint and the reliability that you can expect from a product made in Germany.

Cubert Hyperspectral is the manufacturer of the only camera capable of real time hyperspectral imaging. This cutting edge technology is called video spectroscopy. And with that, the further development of hyperspectral imaging has only just begun, and will accelerate with new technical improvements. With modern snapshot hyperspectral imagers or video spectrometers we are about to repeat the development that has already taken place in regular industrial imaging, where line scan technology has a marginal market share compared to snapshot industrial imaging. The future of hyperspectral imaging is video spectroscopy.

ULTRIS SWIR1

  • video rate acquisition speed
  • c mount adaptor
  • extreme small footprint
  • datacube size

The ULTRIS SWIR1 stands as the pioneering hyperspectral snapshot SWIR camera, leveraging cutting-edge light field technology. Distinguished by its remarkable speed, boasting an 80 Hz frame rate, it proves highly effective in capturing dynamic scenes with precision. Covering the SWIR range from 980 to 1650 nm, this camera provides unique spectral insights essential for a myriad of applications. Notably adaptable, it allows for lens changes through a C-Mount adapter, further enhancing its versatility across a diverse range of applications. Based on our hyperspectral light field camera technology, the ULTRIS SWIR1 offers a versatile imaging solution with its broad wavelength range (980-1650 nm) within the Short-Wave Infrared region. The C-Mount compatibility, supported by the integrated Relay Lens Adapter, enables seamless integration of various optics setups. Notably, the Relay Lens allows users to change lenses at any time. The camera’s high-speed imaging of up to 80 Hz further ensures efficient capture of dynamic scenes. With its compact dimensions (30x30x85 mm), the ULTRIS SWIR1 is ideal for space-limited applications in laboratories or field.

Ultris X20 Plus

  • broad spectral range
  • resolution
  • 164 spectral bands
  • datacube size

The Ultris X20 Plus is extended with a second camera sensor: panchromatic – just one band, high resolution. We use this data to increase the spatial resolution of the spectral camera to 1880 x 1880 pixel, giving incredibly detailed images .The extra data provided by the second camera allows us to use a technique called pan sharpening or image fusion – a version of which we have developed inhouse – to enhance the images even further. Each ULTRIS X20 Plus comes with a high standard 95% white reference target, a distance target, and all accessories necessary to immediately start measurements.

Ultris XM

  • broad spectral range
  • high spacial resolution
  • custom wavelengths available
  • datacube size

The ULTRIS XM represents the next generation in hyperspectral imaging, featuring USB3 connectivity for easy data transfer capabilities. Coming with the highest-ever native spatial resolution of 1 Megapixel among Cubert hyperspectral snapshot cameras. Operating as a classic VNIR camera, it covers the spectrum from 400 to 900 nm, making it versatile for various applications. This technology provides clean hyperspectral images, right out of the box with a native image resolution of 1000 × 1000 spatial pixels with 51 spectral bands, resulting in 51 M spectra per frame. Additionally, a C-Mount adapter provides users with flexibility in selecting lenses based on their specific needs, or even mounting the camera on other optical systems such as microscopes.

Ultris X20

  • broad spectral range
  • light field technology
  • 164 spectral bands
  • no pan sharpening

The Ultris X20 snapshot imaging spectrometer produces rich, 3D data cubes in real-time with no need for scanning (like push-broom technology) or image combination after fast filter shifts. The technology provides clean hyperspectral images, right out of the box with a native image resolution of 410×410 spatial pixels with 164 spectral bands. Each ULTRIS X20 comes with a high standard 95% white reference target, a distance target, and all accessories necessary to immediately start measurements.

Ultris 5

  • oem pricing
  • small footprint
  • light weight
  • resolution
  • spectral range

Cubert’s smallest ever hyperspectral imaging camera is also its most affordable, to a price that can easily compete against RGB and multispectral cameras. By downsizing the fundamental light field technology of the ULTRIS X20, we have created a hyperspectral video camera featuring a 5 MP sensor that is just 30x30x50 mm and weighs only 120g.

Ultris 5 SR

  • oem pricing
  • small footprint
  • lens option
  • resolution
  • spectral range

Thanks to its light field-based design the ULTRIS 5 operates without the need of attaching additional lenses. Because of this feature, the device delivers unprecedented science for a hyperspectral snapshot imager. However, with the ULTRIS 5 Relay Lens adapter, you can now mount any C-Mount objective and start video spectroscopy. The adapter is compatible with objectives ranging from the microscopic, endoscopic to high quality industrial lenses and telescopes.

Cubert might be the only source for video hyperspectral imaging worldwide, but they think of our customers as the real experts as it’s them who constantly find new applications. It’s them who find new ways to apply Cubert’s technology. By merely providing our customers with the best tools to do so, Cubert sets themselves apart from many other hardware manufacturers. Although they are no longer one, Cubert GMBH have retained the curiosity and unconventional approach of a start-up. They like to think outside the box, to test the limits of what’s technically possible, not as an end in itself, but rather to generate real-world benefits. This results in lean, fast, affordable and easy to use products and solutions that enable technical disruptions in the target markets.
