The simplest way to do nonlinear optics in the mid-infrared: Avoid 2-photon absorption, benefit from the lower dispersion and high nonlinearity of mid-infrared materials while limiting useless energy losses in the near-infrared. Femtum offers the first 3-μm class ultrafast fiber oscillator. This reliable, compact and maintenance-free laser is ideal for R&D applications in the mid-infrared. Femtum Amp 2800 - High efficiency all-fiber amplifier around 2800 nm. Benefit from a very strong optical gain around 3 µm with CW to fs pulses. Femtum introduces the first commercial erbium-doped fluoride ber amplifier in the mid-infrared. This compact fiber system can effciently amplify light at wavelengths around 2800 nm. When seeded with an ultrafast laser, this amplifier can generate a watt-level tunable ultrafast output or a high energy supercontinuum spanning from 2.6 to 4.2 μm.

Tunable ultrafast fiber laser between 3000 to > 3400 nm - the first commercial ultrafast fiber laser in the mid-infrared. Large tuning range and high peak powers in the mid-IR. This compact, maintenance-free and tunable laser system is ideal for scientific applications, including: spectroscopy and nonlinear optics. Example applications are: Frequency combs, Mid-infrared imaging, Nonlinear frequency conversion, Supercontinuum generation & High-field physics.

Nanosecond high-energy fiber laser around 2.8 µm for processing of non-metals, biological tissues and scientific applications. Ideal for processing of non-metals. For example: Thin-film processing, Biological tissue ablation, Semiconductor processing & Polymer processing. Fixed wavelength within the range of 2710 to 2830 nm or tunable option upon request. Narrow linewidth option also available upon request.
